On the cusp of a transformative astrological event, the leaders of the Slann converge in a secluded lagoon to witness the hatching of the last spawning of the cycle... Three player teams will take the roles of these leaders: Princess Anura-Ismos of Canopy City -- the region's center of trade, Pond Master Kozmo of Gold City — the local war chief and spawn-father, and Mage-Priest Kukulbufo— an emissary of the Jade Emperor himself. A tense melodrama of galactic proportions is sure to unfold as the night's secrets are unveiled, and the trio must face uncomfortable truths about a spawning unlike any before it. This game will transition between role-playing vignettes using WFRP 1E rules and battle turns using the WFB 3E rules, with the outcome of each scene informing the next.

A great plague has swept the land, and worries of a shadow rising once more occupy the thoughts of the five wizards: Saruman, Gandalf, Radagast, Pallando and Alatar. And yourselves? You are here to confirm this worry. Having sworn pacts to the shadow and the promise of its power, the players will take the roles of one of the nine Nazgul, and a most cruel anti-fellowship of murderers and idolaters. Together, your mission is simple: desecrate and destroy the wizards, by corruption or by blade. The session will begin with the story of the Nazgul gathering their companions, and end with their attempt to confront one of the five Istari. Character generation will take place via e-mail before the convention. The player elected to play the Nazgul will have their pick among the nine, but character stats assigned by the GM.
