Raiders from the Dark Lands march through the mountain passes to pillage farmsteads & lay siege to keeps in the southern Empire, testing how far their incursions may be allowed to advance until the mighty Empire sends its forces. One such invasion is underway. Falkenstein Castle has been captured by the orc warlord Gulgnor of Yargnaal one fortnight ago. Imperial forces of Nuln and Bogenhafen are mustered to retake the castle at all costs. As the siege begins, sappers from the Empire are sent in to dig under the castle courtyard & undermine a portion of its walls so the soldiers may storm in & recapture the citadel.
